Contract services

Contract services managed properly

Planned and reactive maintenance, facilities support and multi-site programmes, with agreed service levels and reporting that arrives without being chased.

The proposition

Clear scope, clear service levels, clear reporting.

MZ Management coordinates ongoing property, maintenance and operational contracts for organisations that need dependable delivery and one accountable partner.

The value is not in having a contractor. It is in having one organisation that owns the outcome, holds the schedule, chases the attendance and reports on it without being asked.

Mobilisation

How a contract starts properly.

Most contract failures are visible in the first month. This is how that month is run.

Specification

What is being asked for, at what standard and to what response times.

Assessment

Sites surveyed, asset condition established, realistic resourcing agreed.

Proposal

Scope, service levels, reporting, exclusions and price, in writing.

Mobilisation

Resources allocated, schedules built, access and reporting set up.

Delivery

Planned works run to schedule; reactive works run to the agreed response times.

Review

Performance reviewed against the agreed measures, and adjusted where it should be.

Tenders

Sending us a specification?

Include the deadline, the sites, the service levels and any mandatory requirements. We will tell you quickly whether we intend to bid.

What helps

Asset lists, current response times, incumbent arrangements and known problem sites.

What we will confirm

Whether we bid, who leads it and what we need from you and by when.

What we will not do

Bid a service level we cannot resource in order to win and renegotiate later.

Timescale

An intention-to-bid response, normally within a few working days of receiving the specification.

Next step

Questions

Common questions

From a single commercial property on a planned servicing schedule through to multi-site programmes. What matters more than size is whether the service level being asked for is one we can genuinely resource — we would rather decline than underperform against an SLA.

Where the contract specifies it and it has been resourced and priced. We do not advertise blanket round-the-clock coverage as a standing claim; cover is agreed contract by contract.

Against whatever is agreed in the contract — typically job volumes, response and completion times, recurring issues and spend. Reporting frequency and format are set at mobilisation rather than invented later.

Yes. Send the specification and the deadline. We will tell you promptly whether we intend to bid, which is more useful to you than a late withdrawal.

Both, depending on the trade and the geography. MZ remains the accountable party under the contract regardless of who attends site.

Yes. Where a contract needs people on site permanently, the workforce and payroll divisions resource it, which removes the usual gap between a facilities supplier and a staffing supplier.
